Open sesame!

We are always thinking (ok, obsessing) about unique, beneficial and all natural balm combos. Decidedly, we took a challenge; to create balms based on basic Ayurvedic Dosha principles* Ayurvedic who? Dosha what? Hurraw is lucky to have an Ayurvedic practitioner in the crew. Talk about obsessed! After two years of diligently formulating our asanas off, satisfaction arose.

We infuse rich, cold pressed organic sesame seed oil with plants, fruits and roots known to compliment each Dosha. We melt in our creamy raw organic coconut oil, rich raw organic cacao butter and emollient cold pressed organic castor oil. We mingle in a trio of flavors from pure essential oils and all natural flavor extracts to create a unique, long lasting, very nourishing lip balm.

Kapha balm:
An herbal infusion of tulsi.
Invigorating and zesty grapefruit subtly melds with stimulating eucalyptus; fresh Malagasy ginger gives warmth.
Energizing.

The Kapha Dosha: steadfast, strong, calm, generous, damp
Element: water & earth
Commands: memory, devotion, stamina, density
Emotions: patience, attachment, sympathy, attentive
Pacified by: spicy, astringent, arid

*Ayurveda is the traditional medicine of India.
According to Ayurveda there are three Doshas: Vata (wind), Pitta (fire & water), and Kapha (water & earth).
These elemental forces manifest into one's mind and body characteristics. A unique combination of these three Ayurvedic principles (Doshas) are present in everyone.

Just received this kapha balm in the mail and find that it is a perfect blend of essential and carrier oils. My lips feel moist and the scent has relaxed me at the end of a long day. Again, just perfect! Will purchase again.
This lip balm is amazing. Picked it up at American Apparel in LA. I had one a while back but lost it. I won't do that anymore, these balms are the best I've ever used. My lips stay hydrated for a while with these. I can't wait to try them all!
This is simply amazing for outdoor adventure. You won't regret purchasing this balm! Your significant other will love it too - tastes great and keeps the kisser in optimum conditions
This is like a cough drop in a tube, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It's very soothing but with a zing. This is definitely not for everyone but if you give it a shot beyond the initial whiff it's a great balm.
I am so pleased with the customer service and even more important, this lip balm! This is the best lip balm I have ever used and the company went above and beyond with the cute packaging and personal note enclosed. So sweet! I can't imagine using any other lip balm after this.
LOVE this balm! I ordered this and the Pitta balm for my best friend and I got a Vata balm for free :) This balm gives me a subtle warmth that is so nice for slow, sluggish days! Great products and costumer service, I will definitely be ordering more in the future ^u^
A fantastic moisturizing balm formula! However, I'm not sure if it's just the batch my tube came from, but the Kapha flavor was overwhelmingly ginger. Like, no zesty grapefruit or stimulating eucalyptus at all, just pure, warm ginger. Glad I bought 3 other flavors along with this one because straight-ginger balm is not what I find tasty! :) - Hey Tracy! Give us a holler, we'll refund ya! Our Malagasy ginger can vary based on harvest but...we're checking it out asap! :)
I purse my lips together frequently so I can sniff the warm ginger scent of this balm. The scent is so close to fresh ginger that I am pleasantly surprised; I love it! Even though my dosha is Vata, I can use this balm happily.
fresh as spring itself, this balm puts a much needed zing to both mind & body! the scent alone is enough to put spring in-step & smile on face. think: light & protective. yet another reason i go 'hurraw'! for hurraw! :)
